Installation Guide.
Installation of LIX Linux is an easy process. There are two main steps for installing LIX Linux.
1) Preparing Machine
2) Running Installer
Preparing Machine
1) Download LIX Linux and burn it to a USB with Rufus or Etcher.
2) Create two partitions (or drives on Windows) of at least 25 GB each for optimal performance.
3) Boot into UEFI/BIOS and disable Secure Boot.
4) Boot from USB.
Running Installer
1) Click on Installer icon, when you boot into LIX Linux.
2) Mark 1st drive as “/” and 2nd drive as “home”. (For UEFI systems, mark or type efi file as “ESP” )
3) Provide instructions as required. (Language, Keyboard, Timezone, Computer Name etc)
4) When installation has completed reboot and remove USB.
